I just received free publicity for my English-language book I published last year from a Ph.D Christian who says he has been studying Bible prophecy for 50 years. This is precisely why I don’t usually make a lot of noise about myself because as Paul said: “For it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.” (2 Corinthians 10:18). I have always believed that if the Holy Spirit has led my eschatological studies to reveal the identity of the Antichrist, then He will also lead the right people to promote them at the right time. If, on the other hand, I have spoken only my own conclusions without God’s guidance and blessing, then I don’t even want to gain wider support for them among the church. For this reason, I also have no need to be offended or angry if many Christians ignore me, reject me, or attack against my ministry. The apostles too faced strong opposition from their own people and scribes when they preached the risen Christ. Truth always faces strong opposition, ridicule or ignoring from the very beginning. But if we preach it faithfully and persistently, eventually our efforts will be rewarded.
I also posted the following comment on the YouTube video above:
Wow. Very well-done video. Congratulations. And thanks for mentioning my book and blog article in your excellent presentation. Just 10 years ago I could only have dreamed of having an eschatological book in English that is cited by people with Ph.D’s. About 10 years ago I started to write my first book (which was never published) in my native tongue (Finnish). I have been quite open about my history and my failed educational background (I was bullied in my school because I confessed My Lord’s name to my schoolmates), so that’s why it is a miracle that I am now here. And that’s why my Latin motto has been always “Soli Deo Gloria” (Glory to God alone) because it’s due to His grace, and goodness that He can use failed people like me.
So I don’t ask my fellow servants in Christ to believe me because I would be something special, or because my wisdom would be so much greater in eschatological matters. I have always acknowledged that I could be wrong because no one (other than God) is infallible. An I have been wrong before in my eschatological interpretations (and usually apologized for that). But I just ask those who are willing to put their prejudices aside to consider the evidence for this idea about Charles as the final Antichrist.
It interesting how more and more people are waking up and embrasing this idea that 10 years ago was still widely mocked or ignored. Maybe all truths and truthtellers must follow the same path as Gandhi once said, I think. And I believe that truthtellers like you are fulfilling the Paul’s prophecy in 2 Thess. 2:3. I agree with you (and Craig Bong) that the rapture would occur before the 7-year tribulation, and not with Tim Cohen who teaches the post-tribulation rapture. But I also disagree with some details that are usually included into pre-tribulational rapture. Like the idea that rapture would occur before the man of lawlessness is revealed to the church. I wrote the whole chapter on this subject for my english book, so I am not going to repeat my arguments here.
But in the original Greek version of NT (like in KJV and others), 2 Thess 2:3 says that God will reveal the identity of the AC to the Church before the Rapture occurs. It doesn’t mean, of course, that every single Christian will know who he is before the Rapture, because there are also those who sleep before the coming of Christ (Matthew 24:50, 1 Thess 5:4-6). But perhaps… I don’t know… 2, 10, or 50 percent of the Church must know his identity before the rapture (just random numbers because the Bible doesn’t say anything about that). I would like to hear your thoughts about that, Dr. Bruce Ruisi. Do you agree or disagree?
