  1. What a delightful homage to Bach’s style! Your improvisation in B minor is truly captivating. The way you’ve interpreted and played with the essence of Bach’s music is inspiring. Looking forward to hearing more of your musical explorations!

    1. Thank you.😃 I have never been in any musical academy and cannot even read the sheet music since I have learned to play by ear. And I didn’t play piano until I was some 20 years old. But Bach’s music has always fascinated me, and that’s why I have learned to mimic a little bit his musical style, chord progress, etc. I have even composed some fugues even though I cannot read/write sheet music. Basically, my way to compose such fugues is to invent the theme (subject) and record it to my digital piano and then I play it and try different melodies which could fit harmonically together with the theme. Sometimes it may have taken several months to compose such fugues, or other musical inventions, and thus it is such relieve to just sit down and record my improvisation like this one. It is like our brain/soul, or whatever, is inventing the right notes for us without need to kill the brain cells for it. And sometimes I am surprised even myself how successful the outcome was since normally it is so difficult to “invent” the music. I think my improvised music may be better than my composed music. Just today I published this compilation of some of my musical inventions from the past: A compilation of my Bach-style musical inventions and improvisations – YouTube
