Donald Trump’s surname meaning is interesting. According to Wikipedia, “A trump is a playing card which is elevated above its usual rank in trick-taking games. Typically an entire suit is nominated as a trump suit; these cards then outrank all cards of plain (non-trump) suits. In other contexts the terms trump card or to trump refers to any sort of action, authority or policy which automatically prevails over all others… The English word trump derives from trionfi, a type of 15th-century Italian playing cards, from the Latin triumphus ‘triumph, victory procession’”. The names given to children in the Bible were often prophetic omens of their future destiny, such as the Hebrew name Yeshua (Jesus) which means “The Saviour.”
On 9 November 2020, a few days after Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election in the mainstream media, I wrote on my blog about a strange dream or presumably prophetic vision of a Christian woman named Veronica West:
Veronika West’s shocking dream of Trump and Biden at the poker table: first Biden wins, but then Trump shows his cards: a FULL HAND! Veronika West had a dream a week before the US presidential election that Trump and Biden were at a poker table. The stakes were high – the fate of the country. There was an angel next to Trump and lots of people praying. Biden seemed weak and unprepared. When Biden showed his cards, the people behind him started shouting and cheering for victory.
Then Trump took the watch from his hand and threw it among the gold coins (the value of US independence and its economic importance) in the middle of the table. The watch read “Triumph”. Trump then showed his cards and a sound was heard: “Full house.” When Biden heard this, he stood up and started shouting and cursing. Then Trump took his watch, put it back in his hand, looked at the clock and said to the people behind him in his administration, “It’s time.” At the same time, Trump put his hand around the pile of gold coins and started to collect the gold coins, but there were so many that he could not collect all of them.
That’s when people in the administration came to Trump’s aid and started picking up the money. Veronika then saw an angel of God raise his sword above Donald Trump’s head and she heard the words “Victory” and “Triumph”. Veronika herself started shouting in the dream, “Now is the time of victory and triumph!” Then Veronika woke up.
I comment on Veronica’s vision as follows in my blog published on 9 November 2020:
I don’t base my belief in Trump’s re-election on just one prophecy. As I explained in my article published three days before the election, the Bible code that predicted the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in 2020 also predicted the re-election of Donald Trump thousands of years ago. Similarly, Kim Clement, who died in 2016 and whose prophecy I made a video about in July, predicted Trump’s two terms in office. In these 2007 and 2014 prophecies, he predicted, among other things, that God will raise up a praying president for America, whose last name is Trump, and who will build a wall of protection for America. He will be elected to office after President Obama’s second term and will restore US relations with Israel in the wake of Obama’s disastrous Israel policy and recognise Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. The Democrats are trying to remove him from office with an unjust impeachment, but God will not allow that to happen. He is putting righteous conservative judges on the Supreme Court, but the Democrats are trying to prevent it with false accusations against these men. He will make the enemies of Israel and the West tremble again with his strong foreign policy. All of this is a prophecy already fulfilled so far. So why would God not fulfill His prophecy to the end?
Between 2020 and 2022, my interpretation of these numerous prophecies about Trump was that Trump actually won the 2020 election – which I still believe today – and that the election result would be overturned and Trump would be returned to the White House, either by the US Supreme Court, audits, recounts of votes, by Arizona and other states, or through constitutional mechanisms such as the 1887 Electoral College Act, which would have allowed, in principle, the reversal of the election result already certified by the states by the US Congress.
But after the 2022 midterm elections, I had to face the reality that there was no longer a constitutional way to unseat Biden, and the spineless Republican leadership in the Senate was not even willing to initiate impeachment proceedings against Biden (perhaps for fear that Vice President Kamala Harris would be next in line for the succession). So I apologised in January 2023 for having promoted false prophecies on my blog. However, I did not apologise for promoting prophecies about Trump that had already come true by then. In my respond to a reader’s comments on that blog update, I said:
If he [Trump] is the man chosen and anointed by God to fulfil Clement’s prophecy of his two terms of office, then God will bring his plan to pass in due course. Then it is also pointless for us to struggle and fight in our own strength. Then we can only “trust in the plan” as the Q movement used to say [note: this was a sarcastic reference to the cultic Q movement, whose beliefs I have never endorsed. The “plan” here referred to God’s plan, not “Q’s” plan]. When God split the Red Sea in two, there was little human influence on events. Similarly, if God decides to restore Trump as president, then it will be on His terms and on His timetable. And then God will also take care of His own glory just as He took care of it by bringing His people from the Gentiles back to His own land after centuries of diaspora.
If Trump wins the election in November, this would not contradict the visions of Clement or Veronica. Clement predicted Trump’s two terms as president, but did not claim they were consecutive terms. Veronica predicted Biden would first beat Trump in a “poker game”, but then Trump would reveal his own cards and get a “triumph”. Veronica’s vision would suggest some kind of landslide victory, because Trump “put his hand around the pile of gold coins and started to collect the gold coins, but there were so many that he could not collect all of them.” Trump and his supporters have often said that a landslide victory is the only way to avert a repeat of the election fraud this year.
The latest polls would at least support such a scenario, and Trump’s verdict yesterday in a New York court case concerning the hush money he paid to a porn star in 2016 would also suggest as much. Indeed, the more Trump is persecuted by America’s politicised judiciary, the more his popularity among voters increases. I commented on Facebook:
Polls prove that Trump’s political popularity only increases the more he is persecuted by a politically and criminally corrupt “system”. Trump’s popularity exploded in August last year, for example, when he published his mug shot on Twitter in his first Twitter post since Elon Musk reinstated his censored Twitter account. This is very stupid politics on the part of the Democrats. After all, ordinary people feel a sense of solidarity and sympathy for the ‘martyrs’. And whether Trump’s “martyr” label is justified or not, most of the people are beginning to see him more and more as a victim of the same elite ‘upper caste’ of Americans who are also responsible for the contempt of the common people. If in the past Trump was seen as belonging to that same privileged class of billionaires, now millions of black Americans in particular, who have suffered more than whites at the hands of the American criminal justice system, will come to see him as the kind of ‘virtuous gangster’ that blacks often romanticise in their rap songs.
When someone then asked me if I thought Trump was innocent even after the jury verdict, my answer was:
It’s not even a question of whether he’s innocent or guilty. It is completely unprecedented in America’s 230-year political history that an opposition candidate for the sitting president, who according to current polls would have beaten Biden, is convicted in a criminal court of some utterly trivial crime that perhaps only people familiar with some legal jargon might understand something about.
Trump was convicted in a very liberal state and openly by an anti-Trump judge, so the verdict was very expected (and with a political figure as divisive as Trump, it is impossible to give him a completely impartial and politically neutral jury). In the 2016 election, Trump threatened to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary Clinton’s real crimes, but after winning the election he did not do as he threatened precisely because putting a chief political opponent in jail would be a very divisive policy. The Democrats are now doing everything they originally accused Trump of.
It’s worth thinking about this with a bit of common sense. Trump is a 77-year-old man with no criminal record to date. But all of a sudden when he got involved in politics and is likely to win the November election, he is accused of dozens of different crimes. If his surname wasn’t Trump, he wouldn’t even have been charged with the kind of things he’s now been convicted of. This was even stated by the strongly anti-Trump CNN News Network.
There is little difference in the treatment of Trump compared to how other corrupt “banana republics” treat members of the political opposition. Western liberals loudly condemned the political persecution and possible assassination of Alexei Navalny by Putin, but when it comes to Trump, they would probably jump for joy if a Democrat terrorist now killed Trump. But this will come back to bite the Democrats hard at the ballot box in November. Republican prosecutors will then also prosecute several prominent Democratic politicians, including members of the Biden family, in criminal courts. This is the only way they will learn their lesson and get a taste of their own medicine as former Fox News women’s reporter Megyn Kelly said in her commentary:
I wasn’t exaggerating when I wrote that Trump “will be convicted in a criminal court for some utterly trivial crime, perhaps only understood by people familiar with some legal jargon.” Even Jonathan Turley, a law professor deeply versed in US civil and constitutional law, could not say in an interview with Jesse Watter what legal theory was used to convict Trump in New York court: “To this day, I can’t say what they thought the conspiracy and second-degree felony was, which clearly can’t be right. Sitting in the courtroom when the verdict was announced and the word ‘guilty’ was announced 34 times, I was really shocked at how happy some people were. There is a tendency in our politics not to treat people as human beings. This is an individual who I believe has been wrongly convicted. But the amount of rejoicing was really incredible. When I came out of the courtroom and saw people celebrating outside, when they were excitedly saying how the former president had been convicted, regardless of what you think of this case, this is a sad moment for our country.”
The positive news, of course, is that Trump will appeal the case to the New York Supreme Court and, if necessary, to the Supreme Court of the entire country. And even if Trump is convicted and sentenced to prison, he can still become president and give his victory speech from behind bars. And in January 2025, when his term of office would begin, he could pardon himself as president and move back into the White House. But such a development would be completely unprecedented in American political history, and would divide the country very deeply and potentially incite political violence and rioting. As vice presidential candidate and ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard said in her excellent CPAC speech, America’s political establishment is seeking to “save democracy democracy by destroying democracy.”
