Long-time readers of my blog know that I like to throw numbers around a lot, so I couldn’t miss the opportunity this time either. I’ve written about the connection between seven and the biblical prophetic calendar since before Donald Trump appeared on the political scene, but among American presidents, Trump in particular has had a magical relationship with the number seven. He was sworn in for his first presidential term on 20 January 2017, when he was 70 years, seven months and seven days old (or, more accurately, the 7th day after 70 years and 7 months). Anyone can check this at timeanddate.com by adding that time to Trump’s birth date of June 14, 1946.
Although I am not superstitious, on Tuesday I bet 2 x 77 euros on a betting game, betting that Trump would win both the electoral votes and the popular vote. “A lucky number” seven earned me €280 the next day. In President Trump’s first year in office, he recognized Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel on 6 December 2017, exactly 70 years and seven days after the United Nations voted to establish a Jewish state on 29 November 1947 in Resolution 181.
As a concrete sign of this recognition, Trump moved the US embassy to Jerusalem as a gift to Israel on the 70th anniversary of Israel’s May 14, 2018. The Biden administration instead sought to reopen the Palestinian consulate in Jerusalem, which would have restored the status quo that existed before Jerusalem’s recognition and reaffirmed the Palestinian Authority’s claims to East Jerusalem. To promote the failed two-state model on the Israel-Palestine issue, Biden travelled to Israel on 13 July 2022. This was exactly 77 weeks or 7 x 77 days after Biden was sworn in on 20 January 2021. Biden was also sworn in 77 days after the election was stolen from Trump on 4 November 2020.
“77th session of the UN General Assembly was held from 13-27 September 2022 at UN headquarters in New York, USA. The first day of the High-Level General Debate was Tuesday 20 September 2022.” September 20 was the 70th day since Biden arrived in Jerusalem 77 weeks into his administration. In the same month, Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 95, having reigned on her throne for 70 years, 7 months and 2 days. Charles III made his first speech as the new monarch on 9 September, which was 77 years and seven days after the end of the Second World War on 2 September 1945.
If we count forward 777 days from the first important day of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, which was 20 September 2022 (the day before was the funeral of Elizabeth II), we arrive to November 5th 2024, when Trump was re-elected president. Election Day was also 7 years, 7 months and 77 days since Trump took his first oath of office on 20 January 2017. This year, there were a total of seven swing states in the US, Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Under the US electoral system, electors in 50 states choose the president.
There are 538 electors in total, so including the President, that number is 539, which is the product of 7 x 77. This is a bit off topic now, but I also posted this brief update on the US electoral system on Facebook:
To clarify if the US electoral system if that is not clear to all Finns. The United States is not a democracy but a republic. So even if a presidential candidate wins a majority of the popular vote, as Hillary Clinton did in the 2016 election, she can still lose the election because it is decided by the electoral college vote. The system is designed to counterbalance the excessive influence of large states that would occur if the outcome of an election were decided by the popular vote of the candidate.
After all, in this case, states with large populations, where residents are concentrated in metropolitan areas of high population density, would have much more influence in elections than small states with lower population densities. Within states, of course, elections are decided “democratically”, i.e. the candidate with the most votes wins that state. There are 50 states in the US with a total of 538 electoral votes (the size of which is determined by the population of the state). Of these 538, a majority of 270 would be required to win the election. 269 votes would result in a tie (538 : 2 = 269), with the winner being voted on by the US Congress.
Election results are often decided in the swing states, of which there are seven this year (in brown on the map). The red states are states where a Trump victory is considered very likely while the blue states are states where a Kamala Harris victory is considered very likely, because in these states the outcome of the vote is often very regular and expected. So if the election continues along the same lines as it has for decades, Kamala will get at least 226 electoral votes and Trump at least 219 votes. This leaves the Democrats 44 votes away from the 270 required to win and the Republicans 51 votes away. Therefore, the battle is essentially for victory in the seven swing states. The most decisive of these is usually the state of Pennsylvania, which has 19 electoral votes, more than Nevada and Arizona combined.
Although in the 2020 election Biden won 306 electoral votes and Trump only 232, Biden’s victory was effectively by the skin of his teeth, because in most crucial states, he won by only a few tens of thousands of votes in a country of 330 million people. The election result would have ended in an electoral college tie if some 21,000 votes had gone to Trump instead of Biden in three crucial swing states.

Donald Trump was 77 years and seven months old when he won the Republican Party primary in Iowa by a landslide in January 2024, making him the leading Republican presidential candidate. In the seventh month of that year, he was almost fatally shot by an assassin at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks shot him in the ear from the roof of a nearby building. The bullet would have pierced Trump’s skull had he not turned his head at the last minute while looking at a map of illegal immigrant statistics (usually the map was shown at the end of Trump’s rallies, not the beginning as in that situation). The state of Pennsylvania has generally been the most decisive state in US election battles, which is why many newspapers wrote that the eyes of the entire country were on the state of Pennsylvania.
I included in my many Trump prophecy videos from 2020-21 a prophetic dream by a Christian named Chris Reed about how all the states of the United States were watching with excitement in the state of Pennsylvania, where the first president of the country, George Washington, appeared and handed a torch to Donald Trump, telling him: “You will lead America’s second revolution to free America from the grip of socialism. The whole country looks to Pennsylvania once again to declare independence from the growing influence of socialism, radical ideology and the anti-Christ agenda to return the country once again to its foundations to keep America truly great”.
The state of Pennsylvania has played a pivotal role in the history of the United States, as the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were written there, and Philadelphia was also the capital of the US until 1800, when it was transferred to Washington. George Washington ruled the country for seven years from Philadelphia. The same state where President Trump was assassinated and the same state where Elon Musk campaigned hard for Donald Trump’s election victory. An avid Trump supporter since the July assassination attempt, Musk will play a prominent role in the Trump administration. I saw this beforehand in May 2022, when I predicted that Musk would likely play a major role in Trump’s return to the White House (at the time, Musk was still a supporter of Trump’s Republican challenger Ron DeSantis).
The state of Pennsylvania was created in 1681, when Charles II of England granted the charter to establish the colony to William Penn, an English Quaker and defender of religious freedom. This year marks 343 years since 1681, or 7 x 7 x 7 years. There could certainly be more examples of repeated sevens, but I won’t boggle the reader’s mind with them any further. Nevertheless, the next six months will be an interesting time in terms of the occurrences of the seven. Next year will mark seven years since Trump recognised Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. In May next year, the State of Israel will celebrate its 77th anniversary.
Around the same time, Israel will begin its 70th Jubilee year, if the Jubilee years are counted from 1406 BC, when we know that the Israelites arrived in the land of Canaan based, among other things, on the chronology of Edwin Thiele. In Leviticus 25 we find Moses’ command for a chronology based on the Jubilee years, which the Israelites were to begin counting when they arrived in the land. The Jubilee years were based on multiples of seven because every seven years was a Sabbatical year, when the land had a year of rest and blessing, and the Jubilee year (the 50th year) followed when the first 7 x 7 years were counted. According to some ancient sources, the Jubilee year was also the first year of the new Jubilee cycle and thus the second Jubilee year is not a centenary year but the 99th year. In this case, the 70th Jubilee Year is also not 3500 years but 3430 years, i.e. 7 x 7 x 70 years. 1406 + 2025 equals 3431 years, but in the absence of a zero year it is actually 3430 years.
We can thank and praise God alone that He saved Donald Trump’s life and had mercy on the United States of America (and through it perhaps the whole world). I believe God saved Trump’s life for a greater purpose, as these seven confirmed figures already show. Perhaps He will use President Trump as an instrument of global revival and blessing for Israel and the world. God’s enemies will war against His plans to the end. But “we do not have a battle against blood and flesh, but against governments, against powers, against the rulers of the world in this darkness, against the spirits of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Christians are often subjected to great ridicule by the people of this world misguided by falsehoods of the mainstream media. 2020 was also a difficult time for me personally, as I first lost a lot of money betting on a Trump victory in the 2020 elections. Soon after, I lost something much bigger that can’t be measured in money – my beloved older brother, who took his own life at the end of a severe depression in December 2020. At the same time, I suffered ridicule from those who mocked my belief in a stolen election and Trump’s return to presidency. For some mockers, it was also appropriate to ridicule my family’s personal tragedy. But I forgive them just as our Lord forgave His mockers on the cross of Calvary.
I have not written about my belief in Trump’s return as if he were some kind of demigod or false messiah to me. I believe he is a very flawed human being, as we all are. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 2:23) All of us need a Saviour and a propitiation for our sins, and we can only find Him in Jesus Christ, who bore our pain and sickness on Calvary’s cross. Only in Him can we find rest for our souls and eternal life. The majesty of His name is also proclaimed by President Trump to a world living in spiritual darkness. But He is merely an instrument used by our God as a vehicle for His plans. And He can use you and me too if we will just surrender to Him and give His name all the glory. With these words I conclude this blog.
Former Democrat Nicole Shanahan, who was chosen by Robert F. Kennedy as his vice-presidential candidate, apologises to Trump supporters on behalf of all Democrats for their discrimination.
